Vote Yes on Referendum to Protect Delco Water, Land and Wildlife
The League of Women Voters is as much green as it is red, white and blue. It supports land conservation, clean air and water and other environmental issues at every level, local, state and national.
The League supports the referendum to protect Delco water, land and wildlife. A yes vote on the referendum will enable the Delaware County Council to secure a $120 million bond issue that will help protect water quality, rebuild eroded stream banks on our many creeks, restart the Greenways program to develop walking and biking trails and parks and much more.
To help you understand importance of your yes vote on the referendum, watch this video interview with Delaware County LWV President Roberta Winters and County Councilwoman Elaine Paul Schaefer, who focuses on environmental issues on County Council.
