Tyler Arboretum in Media will begin a year-long exhibition of the sculptures of renowned artist Steven Tobin beginning October 16.

Steven Tobin: In the Light, is an outdoor exhibition featuring more than 50 of the artist’s works across 15 sites in the arboretum’s 650-acre landscape.  Filled with movement, color and natural forms, Tobin’s work invites visitors to look up, move around, step inside, and discover new connections between art and the living world.

Steve Tobin is a conceptual American artist working in steel and bronze with a history in glass and ceramics. He is best known for his monumental public sculpture installations, including the Trinity Root, which was executed after 9/11 and placed at St. Paul’s Chapel in Lower Manhattan.

Touring the exhibition is included in general and member admission. There are some special events planned to celebrate the opening weekend October 16-18 including food and drink and special tours.
