Children ages 3-5 and an adult are invited to explore nature with a refuge ranger! Participants will enjoy story-times, crafts, hikes, and more! Registration is required. Please pre-register for Nature Tots, by sending a quick email to hannah_thompkins@fws.gov , so that we know to expect you. Like all refuge activities, this event is FREE!

For a week in September, John Heinz NWR staff and volunteers will work together to accomplish trail clearing along the Woodland Loop trail. You'll have the opportunity to get outside, work alongside refuge staff, and assist with invasive plant removal. We are welcoming of all skill and experience levels.
