Take an educational walk with one of our knowledgeable volunteers! Discover the 300+ species of birds that use the Refuge during their migration routes - each week guarantee different species! Walk will meet by visitor center and be at a relaxed paced on flat surfaces. There are restrooms near the trailhead. No registration required.
Children ages 3-5 and an adult are invited to explore nature with a refuge ranger! Participants will enjoy story-times, crafts, hikes, and more! Registration is required. Please pre-register by sending an email to hannah_thompkins@fws.gov with how many tots and adults are expected to attend. Like all refuge activities, this event is FREE!
This event focuses on our pulmonary health and ways that we can keep our air clean in this environment. Hear from local healthcare professionals about what you can do to protect your family. We will have lunch, fun activities, and crafts for kids. This event is all about community health and wellness!
