DATA CENTER IN TRAINER/LOWER CHI – PUBLIC MEETING

October 15 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm EDT

CRCQL will be hosting a follow up public meeting ONLINE on the data center proposed in Trainer/Lower Chichester at the former Congoleum Site. We will be joined by Delaware Riverkeeper Network and Physicians for Social Responsibility.

This meeting will discuss the project, potential impacts to the immediate community and greater Delco, and what residents can do. We will be holding this meeting in lieu of our regular bi-weekly community meeting on Zoom.

Register at ChesterPaEJ.org/meeting.

WHAT:     DATA CENTER IN TRAINER/LOWER CHI – PUBLIC MEETING
WHEN:    Thursday, October 15 at 7pm
WHERE:  ONLINE – OPEN TO ALL – Register here

WHY:
Link Logistics is set on building a data center in Trainer/Lower Chichester. There have been stirrings about this project over the past months with public officials withholding knowledge about the project. A public notice issued Saturday 9/12 confirmed the Trainer Zoning Officer issued a preliminary favorable opinion in support of a data center at 4001 Ridge. Rd. (formerly 4401), the old Congoleum factory site. Residents and community groups are concerned about the impact this will have on the surrounding neighborhoods and region.
