CRCQL, Physicians for Social Responsibility and others will be hosting a public meeting on the data center proposed in Trainer/Lower Chichester at the former Congoleum Site. Link Logistics is set on building a data center in Trainer/Lower Chichester. There have been stirrings about this project over the past months with public officials withholding knowledge about the project. A public notice issued Saturday 9/12 confirmed the Trainer Zoning Officer issued a preliminary favorable opinion in support of a data center at 4001 Ridge. Rd. (formerly 4401), the old Congoleum factory site. Residents and community groups are concerned about the impact this will have on the surrounding neighborhoods and region.
