Watch Delaware Riverkeepers’ webinar on the dangers of shipping LNG by rail
Please watch the recording of the Delaware Riverkeeper Network’s recent webinar on the dangers of shipping LNG by rail and send your comments to the Pipeline Hazardous Materials Safety Administration at the links below. Feel free to share the recording to spread the word.
Please submit comments to PHMSA record by August 4, so please take the next step and submit a comment opposing the reckless proposal to allow LNG to be transported by rail car across the nation. The hazardous material rail regulations already fail to adequately protect our communities and the environment.
“We cannot afford the Trump Administration’s push to deregulate the rules to add highly flammable and explosive LNG to the dangerous cargoes already on the country’s railways. We heard on the webinar about what happened in East Palestine, Ohio – let’s take a lesson from that tragic catastrophe,” said Riverkeeps’ Deputy Director Tracy Carluccio.
