SUMMARY:Delaware County Green Team Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The SC DelCo Green Team is committed to educating people about and increasing the use of clean energy\, zero waste solutions\, & sustainable policies in all DelCo municipalities.  Our activities include: \n\nAdvocating and lobbying for environmental legislation.\nParticipating in marches\, rallies\, and demonstrations.\nEngaging with DelCo residents individually and in groups during community events\, to inform and support them in making environmentally friendly choices.\nSponsoring outings in natural areas and other locations of environmental interest.\nSupporting local governments in making sustainable improvements\, including establishing municipal Environmental Advisory Councils (EACs).\nSupporting marginalized communities in their efforts against polluting industries being sited there.\nCollaborating with other environmental organizations on larger scale actions.\n\nPlease lend your creativity & input. Join any of our future meetings or ongoing activities to help make our communities cleaner\, healthier\, and more resilient to the impacts of climate change. \nDelaware County Green Team Meeting
