DESCRIPTION:Stewardship Saturdays are open events that welcomes all visitors to take part in a hands on experience of creating better habitats for wildlife on the Refuge. Folks will meet at the Visitor’s Center where they will meet and then work with experienced “Weed Warriors” who will teach them about removing invasive plants and or planting native plants to improve native plant diversity and/or food sources for wildlife.

DESCRIPTION:Curious about volunteering with the Sierra Club? Join us for a Volunteer Open House! Learn about volunteer opportunities and find the project\, team\, or task that’s right for you. Discuss your interests and skills with volunteer coordinators in an informal\, conversational space. \nREGISTER HERE! \nVolunteer Open Houses will be held monthly on a rotating schedule to accommodate all calendars.
