SUMMARY:DRBC Sea Level Rise Report
DESCRIPTION:The Delaware River is the largest undammed river in the eastern United States and is tidally influenced. Generally\, sea level rise is expected to push the salt front – the location where the river is no longer considered fresh water – farther upstream than typically seen today. \nJoin Delaware River Basin Commission staff to hear about a new report evaluating how sea level rise will affect salinity in the Delaware River and detailing how far upstream salt water or salinity could reach under multiple sea level rise scenarios and flow conditions. \n Register for the webinar

SUMMARY:The Failed Economics of Fracking in Pennsylvania
DESCRIPTION:The Delaware River Frack Ban and Climate Action Coalition is presenting its next webinar on Wednesday\, January 28\, at 7pm: “The Failed Economics of Fracking in Pennsylvania”. Register here \nThe fracking industry and its supporters are revving up for a renewed fracked gas expansion campaign to fuel development they are promoting – data centers and LNG exports chief among the growing “needs”. Please join us to learn from two experts Elizabeth Marx\, Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Utility Law Project (PULP)\, and Sean O’Leary\, senior researcher\, energy and petrochemicals\, at the Ohio River Valley Institute who will examine with us the truth about fracking’s impacts on our Commonwealth’s economy. \nRegistration is open now: Register here \nFeel free to share this invitation on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/events/1381731540398309/
