SUMMARY:The Good\, The Bad & The Blocked: Pennsylvania’s 2025-2026 Legislative Wrap Up
DESCRIPTION:RSVP: click here to get the Zoom link! \nFamilies across Pennsylvania are stressed and struggling. Increasing electric bills\, extreme heat\, dangerous air\, and flash floods are hitting us all – and instead of solutions\, the thing we’re hearing about most is how AI data centers are going to increase our costs even more and harm our communities. \nDuring this conversation\, we’ll cover the progress that’s been made at the state capitol\, the lawmakers who keep siding with billionaires and corporations instead of all of us\, and where the opportunities are to move significant legislation. \nWhether you’ve been following every vote or just want the highlights\, this is your chance to get a clear picture of what’s happening so that you can hold your lawmakers accountable for their votes. \nRegister today and join us for an inside look at the legislative session—and what comes next for Pennsylvania.

SUMMARY:Tree Care Program in Chester\, Ridley & Crum Creek Watersheds
DESCRIPTION:Traditionally CRC has wrapped up the spring tree care season in May and started up again in September.  This year we are launching a robust tree care program that will run throughout the summer months!  While it’s not the best time to plant new trees\, it is a great time to care for trees we have already planted.\n\nWork will include re-mulching\, removing old cages/stakes and placing new ones if needed\, and clearing out weeds and invasives.\n\nSome sites need only 3-5 volunteers\, some need 10-15 people\, while other sites can take unlimited help!\n\nIf you can help\, please respond and let me know the dates when you can volunteer.  Once we reach capacity for each site\, I will ask additional willing helpers to sign up for other sites in need.\n\nI will email details to all registered volunteers\, including exact address and parking instructions\, the week of each event.  \n\nFriday 8/7 in Newtown Square from 9am-12pm\n\nCRC thanks you and the trees thank you!\n\n  \n\n\n\n\nLynn Meza\nDirector of Volunteerism \nCRC (Chester Ridley Crum) Watersheds Association\nwww.crcwatersheds.org
