This event will feature workshops, plant sales including new natives and perennials as well as divisions from Master Gardeners' gardens. a guided walking tour of Smedley Park by Master Gardeners, children's activities and the popular "Frugal Gardener" and craft marketplaces will also be offered.
Enjoy dazzling displays of native plants, stately trees, and historical landscapes by the Olmsted Brothers that have been thoughtfully reimagined into a beautiful and biodiverse haven for people and wildlife. Children ages 3-5 and an adult are invited to explore nature with a refuge ranger! Participants will enjoy story-times, crafts, hikes, and more! Registration is required. Please pre-register for Nature Tots, by sending a quick email to hannah_thompkins@fws.gov , so that we know to expect you. Like all refuge activities, this event is FREE!
