Please complete this volunteer form if you are interested! \nPhilly currently sends 1/3 of its waste to burn in Chester at the Reworld incinerator and Philadelphia City Council is considering renewing the contract in September. Our goal is to educate residents on how burning trash impacts their own air quality and how to take action. \nCanvass dates and neighborhoods are TBD. If you have preference/restrictions on which neighborhood you are available to help with\, please indicate below.

Folks will meet at the Visitor’s Center where they will meet and then work with experienced “Weed Warriors” who will teach them about removing invasive plants and or planting native plants to improve native plant diversity and/or food sources for wildlife.
