This free workshop will introduce the basics of stormwater management\, green infrastructure\, and non-point source pollution\, and highlight practical steps homeowners can take to better manage rainwater on their properties. We’ll also discuss the benefits of native plants and how they can help absorb runoff\, support wildlife\, and improve water quality. Participants will receive native plants to help get started at home (while supplies last). \nResidents of the upstream areas of the Chester\, Ridley\, and Crum Creek watersheds will also be eligible to sign up for a free Stream Smart House Call following the workshop. Stream Smart House Calls are free\, grant-funded educational property visits.
