DESCRIPTION:Invitation to DEP’s Climate Conversations 2026:\n\nThe Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is planning a new round of statewide community engagement in 2026 as part of our Climate Action Planning. We are organizing 20 Climate Conversations across Pennsylvania\, including one in your area.\n\nThese sessions are designed to listen to community perspectives on climate hazards\, long-term Climate Action Plan implementation\, and local priorities\, and to share brief information about Pennsylvania’s Climate Action Plan 2024 and available state resources.\n\nEach workshop will include a facilitated listening session and open discussion\, followed by a short presentation. Our goal is to hear directly from community members and stakeholders about their experiences\, concerns\, and ideas related to climate and environmental challenges.\n\nNOTE:  List of Events and Register HERE\nThe closest meeting is in Philadelphia\, but others may be on interest to you.

SUMMARY:Free Rain Barrel Workshop
DESCRIPTION:PRC and Eastern Delaware County Stormwater Collaborative are partnering to present a free Watershed Education and Rain Barrel Workshop. Attendees will learn about the problems associated with stormwater runoff\, ways to conserve water in their homes\, and watershed friendly landscaping techniques. The workshop will also cover the basics of how to install and maintain a rain barrel. \nThis workshop is free\, but registration is required. \nRain barrels will be provided to the first 25 registrants. Limit 1 rain barrel per household.  \n“The work that provided the basis for this publication was supported by funding under an award with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
