SUMMARY:FREE Bokashi Composting Workshop-Upper Darby
DESCRIPTION:Financial support has been provided by the Department of Environmental Protection’s Environmental Education Grants Program! \nBokashi is a simple fermentation style of composting that relies on anaerobic or effective micro organisms (EM)-Think Probiotics! This style of composting pickles your food scraps\, is great for small spaces\, and allows you to compost prepared foods\, scraps\, meat\, small bones\, and dairy in only 5-8 weeks! Attendees received a FREE bokashi system complete with 2\, repurposed 5-gal buckets with air-tight lids and 2 lbs of upcycled bokashi bran from Garden of Oz (limited to one system per household WHILE SUPPLIES LAST!) \n \nThank you for supporting a waste-free Pennsylvania! \n*Please note: Registration will end at 8 am the day before the event.
