Stewardship Saturdays are open events that welcomes all visitors to take part in a hands on experience of creating better habitats for wildlife on the Refuge. Folks will meet at the Visitor’s Center where they will meet and then work with experienced “Weed Warriors” who will teach them about removing invasive plants and or planting native plants to improve native plant diversity and/or food sources for wildlife.
