The airwaves are rife with claims about how to save gobs of energy in your home – usually employing purveyors’ products or services.  While plenty of these pitches have some merit, they usually involve spending thousands, or even tens of thousands, of dollars.  But there are ample opportunities to achieve deep savings in most homes with little to no investment. The key is “energy behavior,” and it doesn’t have to mean shivering (or sweating) in the dark.

After the home energy tips, we’ll broaden the view and present a short clip from futurist Nate Hagens on the prospects for energy “transition” in the world, followed by group discussion.
