The Environmental Quality Board (EQB) is meeting on April 8 at 9AM ET to consider the Sierra Club rulemaking petition for increasing setback distances between new fracking wells and homes, schools, hospitals, and drinking water wells. They need your help to pack the room, both in person and online.

Last October, Clean Air Council and Environmental Integrity Project submitted a rulemaking petition to the EQB in support of increasing setback distances between new fracking wells and buildings to protect public health. The DEP moved the petition forward for consideration by the EQB last November. The EQB, after over four months, has placed the petition on their April 8 meeting agenda for consideration.
