Emerging Water Issues in PA – Managing Pollutant Threats

But in recent years, awareness of novel pollutants like microplastics and per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) or “forever chemicals” has raised new questions about how we can safely manage this critical resource and reduce the threats to human health and ecological integrity. As we celebrate World Water Day, come learn about these emerging issues and Pennsylvania’s waters.
