In response to feedback from attendees at our H2Hub community briefings, the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations (OCED) is providing virtual listening sessions for impacted communities to voice their questions and concerns. Registrants may sign up for the opportunity to speak directly to OCED personnel for up to 4 minutes or select to join in listening mode.
Please note the aim of the session to provide an opportunity for project host communities to voice concerns and priorities – this session is not structured as a Q&A. Questions raised during this session will be noted but not addressed in real time. After a listening session is complete, OCED will post the names and affiliation of stakeholders who participated in addition to a summary of each session. OCED will do their best to hear from as many people as possible but cannot guarantee a speaking role.
OCED will accept requests to speak up to 72 hours before the listening session. 48 hours before the listening session, OCED will email registrants a list and tentative order of speakers.
