Clean Energy Opportunity Spotlight Series

This is your opportunity to connect with DEP staff to ask questions and learn more about funding your energy priorities!

The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection’s (DEP) Energy Programs Office (EPO) is pleased to announce the next session of the Clean Energy Opportunity Spotlight Series!

In these monthly virtual conversations, EPO will bring you the need-to-know information about an exciting array of funding and technical assistance programs designed to help Pennsylvania’s homes, businesses, and non-profits thrive in a diversified, affordable clean energy future. Participants will also have the opportunity to connect with program experts and former participants to ask questions and spur future conversations about how EPO programs can benefit you or your organization.

Upcoming Spotlight Topic: Clean Technology on the RISE with the Reducing Industrial Sector Emissions in Pennsylvania Grant Program

Reducing Industrial Sector Emissions in Pennsylvania (RISE PA) is a $396 million industrial decarbonization grant program that aims to substantially reduce greenhouse gas and co-pollutant emissions from Pennsylvania’s industrial sector by funding small-, medium-, and large-scale decarbonization projects at industrial facilities across the Commonwealth. RISE The industrial sector is the highest emitting sector statewide and accounts for about 30% of Pennsylvania’s total GHG emissions. RISE PA has the potential to reduce millions of metric tons of climate pollution while creating many good paying jobs and helping Pennsylvania companies to increase their competitiveness and reduce operating costs, all while providing air quality benefits (and more!) to communities.
