Tristyne Youngbluth, Energy Program Specialist at the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection’s Energy Programs Office, will provide an introduction to battery energy storage systems (BESS) and how they can (and are) being utilized to capture energy when it is abundant and release it when it is needed. Battery energy storage provides flexibility to support renewable integration, grid stability, and cost savings!
