Talk description: Whether we know it or not, plant migration has been happening since humans and animals have walked the face of the earth. But now more than ever we need to be more conscious as to what we are moving and why. This movement is not like the movement that occurred at the turn of the 20th century which was mainly seed from food sources – this new migration is shifting native plants north to help fill in the holes of those plants that are retreating north due to continual temperature increases. I will delve deep into how this is all playing out and will continue to play out with our eyes wide open. It’s not all doom and gloom. It’s being conscious and purposeful.
