According to a recent Climate Power poll, Americans don’t want data centers powered by fossil fuels — they want clean energy solutions that protect communities by lowering pollution and keeping energy costs down.

Despite the Pennsylvania House of Representatives advancing strong data center legislation requiring companies to bring new clean energy, there are still no enforceable statewide clean energy standards or regulations in place. Meanwhile, more data center proposals are being tied to new, dirty gas plants that threaten our communities’ air quality and drive-up energy costs for Pennsylvanians.
