The Delaware County Office of Sustainability will be hosting its 4th Annual Sustainability Conference the week of June 9th – 14th. The County will conclude the celebration of the 4th Annual Conference on Saturday, June 14th with an exciting In-Person Keynote Presentation and Tabling Expo at the Lazaretto Ballroom and historic Lazaretto Quarantine Station in Tinicum Township!
This exciting week-long event will kick off with a host of virtual sessions throughout the week of June 9th – June 13th. Topics will be centered around the County’s six sustainability focus areas of natural resources, energy and efficiencies, transportation, zero waste, climate resiliency and health and wellness, while also touching on emerging trends in sustainability. The Conference will conclude with an engaging Keynote presentation, from local celebrity and beloved meteorologist, Glenn “the Hurricane” Schwartz, followed by an exposition of local organizations, businesses, and sustainability heroes for networking and collaboration.
The Keynote Presentation and a free continental breakfast will be taking place at the extraordinary Lazaretto Ballroom, followed by networking and exploration in the historic Lazaretto Quarantine Building in Tinicum Township. Participants can expect to be exposed to a wealth of knowledge and left with actionable tools to implement sustainable practices in their everyday lives, as well as plenty of opportunity to network with like-minded individuals and organizations.
