Join us through a 3.5 mile loop through Lorimer Park, which is popular for hiking, birding, and mountain biking. We’ll walk mostly in wooded areas, but also along the fields of Fox Chase Farm, which borders the park. We’ll learn about the history of the park, as well as park landmarks such as Council Rock, where members of the Lenni-Lenape tribes would meet, the site of the Waterman Mansion, and the former home of George Lorimer, which is now used by park rangers.  This walk is not wheelchair/stroller accessible, as the trails are either gravel/dirt or grassy with some exposed roots. It is recommended for adults or kids over 12, due to the length, and leashed dogs are welcome.

Bring: Hat, sunscreen, bug spray, sturdy sneakers or hiking boots
