World Turtle Day

May 24 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm EDT

Turtles have roamed our planet since before dinosaurs, yet many of these beloved creatures are now in serious trouble due to habitat loss, exploitation as pets, food and ritual folk medicines. Pennsylvania is home to numerous types of turtles, including rare and endangered species. Join your DCNR Park Naturalist for a special trailside exhibit program on our vanishing reptilian friends, their natural history histories and what we can do to help them. Registration not required.

Free – All Ages

Exact Location: Multi-Use Trail Outdoor Classroom (at stone bridge below mansion)
