Memorial Ride & Ghost Bike Dedication

Memorial Ride & Ghost Bike Dedication
Please join us on Saturday, March 28th for a memorial ride and ghost bike dedication for Teddy Einstein. Teddy was a beloved husband and father of two young children who was killed by a driver on the afternoon of December 3rd, while cycling along the Bicyclist Baltimore Pike.
Groups of cyclists will meet up (9:45am gather, 10am roll) either in Swarthmore (meet at Myers + Park Avenue, Swarthmore Train Station) or in West Philadelphia (43rd + Chester Street) to bike to the scene of the crash (W Providence Road + E Penns Pines Boulevard). There will be a pop-up intersection reconfiguration to demonstrate a safer intersection. At 11am we will have a brief ghost bike dedication ceremony with a few speakers. Cyclists will then return to West Philly and Swarthmore.
