- DRBC is hiring three (3) summer interns in our Water Resources Planning Section. These *paid* internships will be from May to September 2026. We’re looking for someone to help with our Water Resources Resilience Plan, another to work on database management and someone to work on water supply planning. - The DRBC’s salt application survey closes March 3, 2026. This anonymous survey, geared for municipal staff, contractors and decision-makers, will help us better understand current salt application practices in the Delaware River Basin. - The DRBC is currently preparing its 2026 Delaware River and Bay Water Quality Assessment Report. Comments and input are currently being solicited from interested parties on the proposed assessment methodology. Folks are able to submit comments through our online system; the deadline is 5 p.m., March 31, 2026. - In addition to the three internship opportunities mentioned below, the DRBC is also hiring two interns to support our Water Quality Monitoring programs. staff/internships.html. - On March 11, DRBC is hosting the New Jersey Section of the American Water Resources Association’s (NJ-AWRA) Water Leadership Forum. This event will take place at our office in West Trenton, N.J., from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., and will feature a presentation on “Water on the West: Why the East Should Care” by Rutgers Professor Dr. Dan Van Abs.
