Community Action Workshop (Delaware Riverkeeper Network)

It’s a new year and it’s time for action.
If you’ve ever felt the urge to do something but not sure what, this is the place for you.
The Delaware Riverkeeper Network and Berks Nature have put together the first of several Community Action Workshops designed to teach you about how to effectively organize for environmental action. While these workshops are geared towards environmental advocacy and environmental issues, the skills you learn here can apply to other fields and other localities. Discussions will cover various community organizing skills and topics including how to request information from government agencies, how to engage at various levels of decision making, regional stream quality and land and river threats.
Invite your friends, neighbors and connect with other community members seeking to do more! Share knowledge. Learn and apply your skills!
No experience necessary. Registration (FREE) is required
