The cheapest and cleanest energy is the energy you don’t use. That’s why improving energy efficiency can help you save on your energy bills while also fostering a cleaner and healthier environment.
Pennsylvania has an energy efficiency law, Act 129, which requires large electric utilities to implement programs that help reduce their customers’ energy usage. The law has been in place since 2008 and has required utilities to meet energy saving targets during phases lasting three or five years. Utilities are now in the process of designing their plans for the upcoming five-year phase.
Curious about Act 129 and how you might be able to benefit from energy efficiency? Join Clean Air Council and the Pennsylvania Utility Law Project on Wednesday, November 12 at 6pm to learn more about Act 129, how to access current programs, and the health and environmental benefits of energy efficiency.
