The Department of Environmental Protection (Department) is proposing to submit a State Implementation Plan (SIP) revision to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as required by the Clean Air Act (CAA) (42 U.S.C. §§ 7401—7671q) and the implementing regulations for the 2008 and 2015 ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS). This proposed SIP revision certifies that the Department is implementing regulations and control measures that meet reasonably available control technology (RACT) considering the EPA’s Control Techniques Guidelines (CTG) issued for consumer product source categories.

§  The Department will provide the opportunity to hold three public hearings if requested, to receive comments on the proposals.

·        The first hearing will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on October 28, 2025, in the Waterfront Rooms, Southwest Regional Office, 500 Waterfront Drive, Pittsburgh, PA.

·        The second hearing will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on October 28, 2025, in the Susquehanna Room, Southcentral Regional Office, 909 Elmerton Avenue, Harrisburg, PA.

·        The third hearing will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on October 30, 2025, in the Schuylkill or Delaware Room, Southeast Regional Office, 2 East Main Street, Norristown, PA.
